Think of it as personal coaching for you and your dog — right from the comfort of home. We’ll connect over video calls, where I’ll guide you step‑by‑step, answer questions, and cheer you on as you practice together.

Here’s how it flows:

• Assessment – We’ll start with a chat (in‑home or online) to learn about your dog’s personality, environment, and your goals.
• Live Coaching – During sessions, you’ll work with your dog while I coach you in real time.
• Practice Plans – I’ll give you fun, customized exercises to keep progress moving between sessions.
• Video Feedback – Share clips of your training, and I’ll provide tips and encouragement.
• Progress Check‑ins – As your dog grows, we’ll celebrate milestones and add new skills.

Perfect for: Puppies, basic manners (sit, come, leash walking, polite hellos), behavior challenges (barking, jumping, anxiety), multi‑dog households, and busy owners who need flexibility.

Use of remote devices is only available with Board & Train services

Sometimes dogs need extra clarity when they’re off‑leash or easily distracted. That’s where training tools come in — they help your dog understand exactly what you’re asking, even from a distance.

• Clickers – A simple “yes!” signal so your dog knows the exact moment they got it right.
• Long‑distance cues – Verbal commands or whistles to guide your dog when they’re farther away.
• E‑collars (with professional oversight) – Gentle vibration, tone, or stimulation to support specific training goals.

Best for: Recall (coming when called), off‑leash adventures, and reinforcing good behavior across larger spaces like yards or fields.

As a coach, I work with you to create customized specific goals. We use clear, measurable goals – things we can observe, count, or time. Instead of a general goal like, ‘better leash walking’, we create a specific goal like “walks 10 feet with a loose leash 4 out of 5 times”.

We measure success in numbers and by observation. Both are important ways to determine success.

1. Number of successful reps
2. Duration (how long your dog can do something)
3. Distance (how far you can move away from your dog)
4. Distractions

We will compare videos over time to evaluate progress and once your dog is consistently successful at a behavior, we move on to the next skill or goal. As the coach, we are a team, and progress is contingent on the goals, practice, and focused efforts by all of us.

As a dog behaviorist, I know it is not solely about the numbers but also about the dog’s emotional response. I look for positive signs, like:
